The Download
PricewaterhouseCoopers (Internal) | Motion Designer
THE CHALLENGE:
Develop a dynamic visual identity for PwC's new executive town hall series, "The Download," reaching 50,000+ employees. Needed compelling motion graphics that would work as webcast openers, in-studio monitor graphics, and email headers—all under a tight turnaround.
MY ROLE:
I rapidly developed multiple motion graphics concepts exploring different creative directions: cinematic overhead flythroughs, depth-based visual immersion, and high-energy edits combining video, fast cuts, and transitions. Created storyboards and motion tests for each approach, designed for modularity across the recurring series while adapting to static applications. Presented concepts to creative leadership with strategic rationale for each direction.
THE OUTCOME:
While the firm selected a different solution, my concepts demonstrated strategic creative thinking for executive communications and my ability to rapidly develop high-level creative directions under pressure. The work reinforced my value as a strategic resource for high-visibility initiatives and showcased versatility across motion design approaches.
SKILLS: Motion Graphics Concepting • Storyboarding • Executive Presentation Design • Multi-Format Systems • Rapid Ideation • Stakeholder Presentation
OPTION 1
This concept gives leadership a clear, elevated perspective—starting with an overhead flyby that sets a broad view of the organization. As the camera zooms in, the motion symbolizes how key updates and initiatives cascade from leadership to every level of the team, connecting vision with action.
OPTION 2
This concept brings together the firm’s many projects and initiatives, weaving them into one cohesive story. The motion and structure reflect how each effort connects to form the bigger picture of key insights shared during the webcast.
OPTION 3
This concept leans further into motion layering in bold branding, dynamic pacing, and fast cuts to capture the energy of the webcast. It builds on earlier versions but amplifies the rhythm and visual intensity to match the excitement of the event.
